The Electronic Frontier Foundation has sent a press release and opened two new sections of their site geared towards the legalities of blogging. There are many ways to get in trouble thanks to your blog: copyright infringements, the shaky “journalistic ground” blogs are currently on, and more.
Luckily, EFF has published a legal guide for bloggers. You can read that at http://www.eff.org/bloggers/lg/. It’s extremely informative and I’d suggest anyone who publishes online (bloggers especially) read it.
If you want to join in the fight to preserve our rights outlined in the First Amendment, then go to the EFF’s “Blogger Resources” page: http://www.eff.org/bloggers/.
Got comments? Email me, dammit!
