In the end, "libertarian" is just another label. Whether or not it actually applies is up to the observer.

I've been called a fascist, a "Burhie," a Republican, a right-win nut, a leftist Commie, and worse. The only thing someone's called me in the past few months, politically, that comes close to fitting is "anarchist."

I know supposed libertarians who love war, who love law enforcement, even many who think the USA PATRIOT Act was a good idea.

"Libertarian" is just a label like anything else. Most "libertarians" who are part of the Libertarian Party, in my experience, are just glorified debate club members. They aren't fighting for or working towards any change. They just want to be able to use big words while describing things and be a part of the mental elite.

I've met libertarians who're on welfare and government disability. I've met others who are independently wealthy. I've met libertarians who live in their parents basement. I've met some who are business owners and entrepreneurs.

Welcome to human thought.

Actually the biggest reason behind the liberation of women (at least from those feminist websites I've read) is that women are forced to wear the burka, which is something both feminists and libertarians are against.

My understanding is that feminist and libertarians are very similar in that both of them are pro-choice.

However, both of them have people who call themselves feminists and/or libertarians who are for force, which is contratry to what they claim to be for.

There are some libertarians who are for mandatory taxes to fund the military, courts, etc but any sort of mandatory taxes is not libertarian, since it involves force. There are some feminists who are for the government making more laws, which they may not no it, but that's against choice (it's just adding choice to one and removing choice from another).
