The Sam Adams Alliance, people who are obviously after my own heart, are holding their 3rd annual Sammies Awards with $20,000 in prizes up for grabs.

There are six categories that can be entered with prizes from $3,000 to $5,000 and a paid trip to the Sammie Awards.  The theme of this year’s contest is “We Are All Activists Now” and includes prizes in the following categories:

• Blogger
• Video
• Watchdog
• Town Hall
• Tea Party
• Modern Day Sam Adams
