That's what Turner did. He was always there at the rally, the press event, and so forth. Just like Limbaugh, when the "news" wants the "right-wing" perspective, they listened to him. Dale (FWR's host) once told me that if you ever wanted to find a federal agent, all you had to do was go to the local neo-Nazi camp or gun show. This has been bantered about, but a closer look reveals no evidence to back it up. The more-perceptive news-outlets have reported that Turner's audience, if any, was entirely unknown, as to size and orientation. Some have postulated that he had no audience whatsoever, but that he was simply a blow-hard seeking attention (as is more likely) per directives from his FBI-handlers and to stoke his own ego (as well as pad his wallet from the feds). I tuned in one time and heard him rant about killing people. He had one caller, who espoused the "Libertarian" party-line, in agreement.
