House passes bill eliminating permits for concealed carry

by Bill McCarthy, TheWyoNews

CHEYENNE – The House passed on third reading a bill to allow Wyoming citizens to carry concealed firearms without a permit.

Senate File 47, concealed weapons, has also passed the Senate. The legislation is on its way to Gov. Matt Mead.

The House passed the bill 49-9.

If the governor signs the bill into law, Wyoming will continue to issue concealed-carry permits for reciprocity with other states.
