Leaderless Resistance

“If every person has the right to defend–even by force–his person, his liberty, and his property, then it follows that a group of men have the right to organize and support a common force to protect these rights constantly.” —The Law. Frederick Bastiat Paris, 1850.

Leaderless Resistance is the idea of individuals taking their own separate action towards a common effort. When I created the Sons of Liberty Academy it was created with the sole purpose of educating individuals with information that is usually only reserved for the ‘Generals’ of a movement. The idea is that if all of the soldiers were educated and trained at the highest level, it would be impossible for the leaders to be taken out, since more would simply take their place. This complete picture gives real strength to the movement.

I first became aware of Leaderless Resistance in a very unusual place, the military. Most military are known for their top down, hierarchical, centralized power structure. This system has proven to be the best way to manage huge amounts of energy and personnel towards a common enemy. This structure has a weakness, in that it is slow to react to knew threats.  Centralized power also becomes very predictable, since it must train its people in advance to do everything according to plan. This also stifles innovation or initiative, which leads to decay and collapse.

The Marine Corps it is very different than most other military. First every Marine is a rifleman. This means that is the most important and common role of a military, every Marine must be a trained fighter. This is not true with every other military, where everyone is a “specialist.” Once you get beyond most front line infantry in other armies, there are no skilled fighters left. With the Marine Corps, you could get all of the way into the kitchen and the cooks will be laying down an effective base of fire.

The next thing that the Marines do is that they operate from Sergeants and Corporals and not Generals and Captains. When conducting operations, every Marine is trained to be a leader and take initiative. Improvise, Adapt and Overcome is the guiding force behind every situation a Marine encounters. They do not have to wait to hear from higher ups to do what they do best. If they do something wrong, they are expected to defend their position and are often commended for leadership. This quick acting, take charge attitude is what makes the Marines unstoppable on the battle field.

“Like the fog which forms when conditions are right and disappears when they are not, so must the resistance to tyranny be.” -Louis Beam

When I started to look into formalized approach of Leaderless Resistance I ran across Col. Ulius Louis Amoss. He proposed in 1962 that Leaderless Resistance would be the best way to prevent a Communist/Collectivist invasion. While the Soviet threat has disappeared, the collectivist power in our banking, media, military, corporations and our government is a very real threat to our liberty. Now the freedom movement is working in many different areas to expose the tyrannical nature of our system. The 10 Planks of the Communist Manifesto is alive and well in America.

The success of the American Revolution is a testament to Leaderless Resistance. The small bands of militia refused to fight the British power head on. They fought them in a guerrilla fashion and only on terms when they knew that they could win. They did not challenge their naval power, they did not go toe to toe with their red coats. They thought and fought in a truly revolutionary fashion. They disregarded conducts of “proper” war and used ambushes, attacked the commanders of the armies and midnight raids.

Many patriots used the Leaderless Resistance to form the intellectual basis of the Revolution years before the first shot was fired. They fought an intellectual war for the heart and minds of Americans and undermined the support for the costly war inside the empire.  The original Sons of Liberty fought an intellectual battle for years as they challenge the British Empire and even challenged their fellow Americans to think. This decentralized approach lead to things like the Boston Tea Party. The original Sons of Liberty took it upon themselves to use non violent, non compliance to send a message to the Empire and wake their fellow citizens. Many of the founding fathers participated in the Committee of Correspondence to create the intellectual foundation necessary to lead a successful war and establishment of the first truly free society.

The Sons of Liberty Academy seeks to give a full education so that individuals can have a complete picture to go about creating acts of Leaderless Resistance. It is useless, or worse counter productive, spending time and energy fighting the branches of power and not the root of power. The other really interesting aspect of this, is that each act of resistance is according to that individuals special talent. Some may make songs, some may debate, some may make some public protest, and others spread ideas. The point is that each individual effort is decentralized, powerful, and unpredictable.

The best part of this kind of resistance is that it is fun. No one likes to do what they are told or risk everything for someone higher up hiding behind the scenes. If you decide to do something and resist, you can do something that excites you or you feel that will have the most success. It is a free market of ideas. You choose the ideas and the medium attack. If your idea works, the resistance benefits. If your idea fails, you fail. You can do something or not, you are not tied to some commitment or level of intensity. The heat gets too hot, go back to your normal life.

Leaderless resistance is impossible for centralized powers to effectively react to. Centralized power needs intelligence in order to direct its power. In a leaderless resistance there is no way to accurately determine what is going to happen, because those that are in the movement, don’t even know what is going to happen. The Elite have huge amount of banking, political, military resources and they may seem all powerful, but they cannot wield all of that power at little blogger without working against their cause. Can you imagine the uproar if they came after individuals who were promoting freedom. They would risk creating an exclamation point on all that person said. Political martyrs serve to inspire others to snap out of their apathy and take action. It also creates doubt in the minds of people who have not put much thought into that persons cause.

“The best way to control the opposition, is to lead it ourselves.” -Vladimir Lenin

Leaderless Resistance is also great for accountability. No one issues orders or waits for orders. There is no way to infiltrate, subvert and destroy a leaderless resistance. Everybody is their own sleeper cell of resistance. Individuals can take action of their own timing and action. There is no need for meetings, where inevitably, the most psychopathic beats their way to the top. Leaderless resistance needs no leader, meeting or organization and therefore cannot be subverted. If you are in a structured resistance, you can be held accountable for others actions or risk being exposed by others. If some leader of the movement is shown to be a disinfo agent, they will be exposed and and no longer have influence over the movement. I have been writing fervently about the Neo Cons attempt to co opt the freedom movement. The movement will improvise, adapt and overcome.

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”– Mohandas Gandhi

The longer that the centralized power ignores the resistance, the more that their position is weakened. More people are brought to the cause, because they see the hypocrisy that they are living. When the resistance becomes powerful enough, the centralized power will mock the resistance in an effort to sway the masses away from those “crazy” people. The Elite will say they are conspiracy theorists, illegitimate, domestic terrorists, or not serious. This stage is short lived as it only seeks to give more attention to the resistance. When the resistance comes close to its stated goal, the centralized power unloads all of its assets to crush the resistance. This could come in the force of lawsuits, harassment, arrests, asset seizures or even death. This violent stage is designed to raise the stakes so high that most will crack under the pressure. This brings about the end, when the centralized power now acts just like the resistance has been saying, a tyranny. The power loses support and more people see that there is no sitting on the sideline anymore. Let justice be served, though the heavens may fall.

In order for men to do great evilthey must first believe they are doing good.”-Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

You cannot fight evil, you can merely expose evil. The problem with evil is that those that are doing it, believe that they are actually doing something good. There are not hoards of evil people out there committing crimes. There are a few psychopaths that are manipulating the masses into thinking that what they are doing is right and just. I wrote how on Memorial Day that we are sold one thing and get another. We are sold on yellow ribbons, apple pie and bald eagles and yet what we are actually doing is raping nations for corporate contracts and spreading death and debt. We think we are spreading Democracy, but really we are supporting tyranny. Do you see how that works?

Our resistance is NOT to fight evil, it is to expose evil. Evil stops having it power as soon as it is shown. As a result the very nature of our battle is one of non violent, non compliance. For many years slavery was considered good and acceptable in our society. Now that it is exposed as an evil no one would even consider bringing it back. They would be decried as evil to even suggest it. The Nazis thought that their form of collectivism was good and just compared to the Soviets form of collectivism. Normal German people committed war crimes, not because they were doing evil, but because they thought they were doing good.

“No army in the world can stop an idea whose time has come.” Victor Hugo

Humanity no longer can justify war and debt. It is time for us to throw off the chains of these two scourges to humanity. We must discredit the fundamental ideas of the two and the men that use them to control us. I believe that we can bring about real effective change to our world. We can stop this paradigm by first recognizing it as evil. Then stop actively supporting it. And finally speak out to others so that the message spreads. They Elite are powerless over us as soon as we see what they do as evil. I have spent years putting together the Sons of Liberty Academy to help educate the world on the greatest story NEVER told, the enslavement of humanity through war and debt. With Leaderless Resistance is that there is no need to actually know your brothers in arms. Through the common cause or rallying cry, we can do much more individually than we can trying to organize some million man march. So this Flag Day June 14th I encourage everyone to participate in Operation Empire State Rebellion. I support Anonymous in their efforts because they embrace this spirit of non violent, non compliant, leaderless resistance. More importantly, they are hacking at the root of power, the banking system that enslaves humanity with war and debt. You can do something small or you can do something much more. I have compiled a a bunch of examples of non violent leaderless resistance.
