    If the assumption is that Paul supporters are so crazy that they cast there votes in a way that assured Obama’s election but yet we need to appease them by doing “god knows what” then you are the crazy one. I think the Paul voters who preferred to elect Obama are hopeless.

      All they had to do to appease them was not blatantly screw them over, Gone. They couldn’t even do that.

      The assumption, by the way, is actually that had the GOP at least included the Paul supporters at the convention, they would have likely carried the votes in those states they ultimately lost to Obama. I haven’t seen the numbers yet, but there were a fairly high number of third party votes this time around and were likely a lot of write-ins as well.

      All of which are things the GOP is going to have to deal with, Ron Paul crowd or not, because they completely fail to include anyone who isn’t either a Christian fundamentalist or a neo-con. True conservatives need not apply at the Republican Party.
