Fighting Back

Gun Manufacturers and Suppliers Use Free Market to Boycott Government

from Libertarian Viewpoint

GunManufacturersIn a blow to governments against the Second Amendment (like New York), gun manufacturers are putting to use the free market in an attempt to bring attention to the wrong they are doing. It is truly great to see business siding with the Constitution instead of a crooked government. Recently a number of liberty-minded gun manufacturers and suppliers have stepped up the ante on the gun control issue and began boycotting governments that are now hostile toward the Second Amendment.

Draconian laws enacted by these tyrannical governments are hitting a lot of people and businesses. They were legal one hour, and overnight became illegal. Many are getting sick and tired of governments running roughshod. Now several companies are telling anti-gun governments at all levels (city, county, state and federal) what they think. Even at the cost of revenue. I would not worry though, I think they will do just find as they make their case public.

Many of these companies announced they will no longer supply the firearm equipment to hostile government police force or their associated first responders. Rest assured that New York and California, two of the worst offenders, are fast becoming their main targets. Their goal is simple, they want to get out there and make an example out of the politicians who seem to be living in a dream world. Tyrannical power exercised by “out-of-touch” politicians need to be dealt with.

In keeping with the idea that “nobody is above the law” companies are now saying that they will treat EVREYONE the same way in the anti-gun states. This is a wonderful move in the free market to hold government officials and government workers accountable at the same time. Manufacturers and suppliers do not want to make any legal mistakes in these ruinous states and simply say that if we cannot supply to citizens, then we will not supply to government either.

From the wake of Sandy Hook we have seen a plethora of governments moving forward to get rid of guns in their jurisdiction, all against the Second Amendment. Obama and his Administration are clearly out of their minds on this subject. That should not strike any of us as something new since they have been trying to destroy the Constitution and take away our rights since they got into office.

The state governments are becoming just as crazy. Pretty soon this will come to a head and the whole thing will blow up. People will not give up their guns and suppliers will not supply the government. Sooner or later, if this issue is not resolved, there will be a fight. Barrett Firearms Manufacturing kicked off the boycott some years back when California banned the .50 caliber weapons. Now others are finally getting on the bandwagon.

Not everyone is taking part in the boycott. Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson and Remington have not taken the steps necessary to boycott the anti-gun governments. If you are in support of the Second Amendment and would like to see these companies participate in the boycott I urge you to contact them right away and voice your opinion.
